I had a good experience with A Master’s Hands, LLC. They knew what they were doing, and their estimates were good. They did some work inside the house, along with a repair on one of our window wells. Their quality of work was very good. They were very professional. Also, from what I recall, they were flexible around my schedule.

You guys do good work and watch my wallet at the same time. You also know how to approach each project with the best solution, with materials that are available.

Thanks again for coming out quickly and doing such a great job — and for teaching me a lot about things electrical. The bathroom light with the replaced tombstone worked fine after I put in new bulbs.

We contracted with A Masters Hands to finish our basement. We were thrilled with the results as the finished basement is beautiful. A Masters Hands was great to work with. They met with us to determine exactly what we wanted, then met with us to review the list and make suggestions of what else we could consider as alternatives. The suggestions were only to improve the quality of the end product or to do it less expensively. That was greatly appreciated! The crew was great to work with. They started and stayed on the job and we never had to call them to get them back to the job site. When completed, we did a walk through and if there were minor issues that needed to be tweaked to satisfy us, they performed those again immediately and then and only then did they present us with a final bill. The fee charged was very fair, the workmanship was beyond our expectations, everyone we worked with was extremely courteous and everyone took great pride in what they did. A trustworthy, conscientious and professional company that does it right the first time. This is my third occasion to use A Masters Hands, most recently for a complicated installation. Other companies told me it couldn’t be done. Jim analyzed the job, made it happen, and like every other time, came in on schedule and on budget. As corny as it might sound, we wouldn’t have this house if it weren’t for you, Jim. With a special USDA grant, we were able to buy a charming mountain home that needed some TLC. Being a government agency, they required paperwork to be completed in a very exacting format. At least 7 other contractors had previously bid for the repair work, but each was rejected for their failure to write their bids “correctly.” We were down to the actual last day that a bid could be presented, otherwise we would be denied our loan. You stayed up until midnight writing it and worked closely with our banker the following morning (“D-day”) fine tuning it, and HOORAY! We got our house!

Thanks to your awesome crew (Greg, Jeff and yourself included!) all the work was completed within the brief time frame that the USDA required (AND within $12 of the budget!). You guys surprised us by actually arriving the day after closing to begin work. Jeff came up with a very clever and attractive way to fix our out-of-code banisters and goofy sized screens. Greg was super at solving our plumbing woes (leaky faucets), and honestly, we enjoyed their great sense of humor and easy manner. We were all so comfortable with having you guys around, that it felt a little weird when you were done and we knew we wouldn’t see you.

We trust you and your team implicitly. You really surrounded yourself with men of fantastic character, experience, integrity, and just plain fun! Owning a home is always about on-going projects, so we hope to see you all when it’s time for our next one (our garage!).

Jim, thank you for coming to our rescue with our unexpected shower repair. Water leaks are a scary thing, but you and Robert jumped right on our problem, discovered the issue with the tile and solved it for us! “A Master’s Hands” is simply the best home handyman service around. They completed a wide range of projects for us. It was great having a quality, “one-stop shop” to get so many problem areas taken care of around the house. Among other things, they: performed a drywall ceiling repair in our bedroom; tore a water-damaged bathroom wall down to the studs, installed new backer-board, and replaced the tile like new; reset our entry-door hinges and strike plates to fix a settling issue; replaced rotten eves and gutter downspouts on two sides of the house; replaced a damaged section of our garage door; and replaced the sump-pump. Jim began by sending us a detailed estimate. He always accommodated our schedule and spent extra time at the end of several days making sure the job was wrapped up to our satisfaction. Jim let us know whenever he was uncomfortable with a particular aspect of the job and would readily suggest less expensive alternatives when they were available. He was happy to let us take care of obtaining the materials and handling the simpler aspects of the job in order to keep our overall expenses down. The quality of the work and the speed with which it was completed were both excellent. We could not be happier with the results! In a word — HONOR. They consistently placed our needs and concerns above their own in fulfilling their commitment to us. We used A Master’s Hands again, this time for a toilet leak that had been occurring in one of our rental properties. It had been there awhile and required tearing up the floor, removing the rotted wood, rebuilding, re-tiling, and resetting a new toilet. We called them last minute and Jim was able to organize his crew quickly enough to get the work done in 3 days from the time we called, while our renter was still on vacation. The job was executed perfectly and totally fulfilled our expectations – AND at a price that is VERY fair and below any other competitor out there. I would recommend these guys anytime!
